Government progresses three bills under urgency: the Returning Offenders (Management and Information) Bill, the Social Security (Commencement of Benefits) Amendment Bill and the Local Government (Auckland Transitional Provisions) Amendment Bill. Those three bills, plus the Waitangi National Trust Board Amendment Bill, all complete their final readings before the House adjourns for a week; Social Services Committee hears submissions on Child Protection (Child Sex Offender Register) Bill; Transport & Industrial Relations Committee hears submissions on Employment Standards Legislation; Education & Science Sub Committee's inquiry into the identification of Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Autism in schools continues; Thursday see questions to the Government about the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment's report on rising sea levels caused by climate change; House pays tribute to Paris terror attack victims; Tributes also to the late former All Black Jonah Lomu.
