Snorers are often regarded as a long standing joke.
But it can hide a much more serious health condition: obstructive sleep apnoea that can be a killer.
Geoff Moffett has been finding out that up to a quarter of a million New Zealanders may have the condition and may be ignoring it.

Auckland Council and the Government are at a crucial point in their almost three year old relationship.
The council wants Government support for big projects such as the $2.4 billion, downtown rail tunnel, and new ways to fund $15 billion of transport projects.
So far the Government has been cool on both, and there's also tension over the implementation of the city's 30 year development blueprint, the Unitary Plan.
