Sunday, 23 August 2009: Student Housing

Grotty flats and bitterly cold conditions - they're a fact of life for students who choose to study at Otago University in Dunedin.

But are such conditions harming young people's health and causing international students to take their dollars elsewhere?

Emma Lancaster reports from the heart of student-land in Dunedin to ask what needs to be done to improve living conditions and whether young people can be encouraged to opt for better housing.

"Pink Flat, The Door:" One of the distinctive student flats in Dunedin on the Facebook page, "Dunedin named student flats"
