World leaders are heading to Paris at the end of this month to kick off a conference where it's hoped the first globally binding deal can be struck to tackle climate change.

So far the commitments to reduce emissions are not tough enough to slow global warming to the recommended two degrees by the end of the century.

After years of talkfests and in the face of rising global temperatures, is this the conference that will finally make a difference?
