Wellington's port company says lucky quake struck at night

Engineers are still trying to ascertain the extent of the damage to Wellington's Port area. Centreport's chair, Lachie Johnstone, says it is lucky the 7.8 earthquake struck in the middle of the night, saying there could have been fatalities otherwise in the badly damaged Statistics NZ building.
