A brand new employment collective agreement for professional rugby players has been signed which increases player payments by $70 million.
The new collective sets aside almost $25 millon to retain top All Blacks.
Respect, inclusiveness and player conduct are also a big part of the new contract off the back of a year to forget, which included scandals involving players and strippers.
New Zealand Rugby has also appointed its first ever female board member - former Black Ferns captain Farah Palmer.
She attended her first board meeting yesterday.
