Is Trump's travel ban putting the PM in a tricky place?

The New Zealand government is still waiting for clarity from the United States about what will happen to citizens who have dual nationality with one of the countries the US has banned.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly has said people from the seven targeted nations who hold dual citizenship will be allowed to enter the US on the passport of a non-restricted nation.

The political firestorm sparked by President Donald Trump's travel ban continues to rage in Washington and across the globe.

President Trump's second week in the White House promises yet more fireworks later today when he reveals his pick for the vacant seat on the Supreme Court.

The Democrats have promised to fight his choice whoever it is and have been holding up the appointment of Mr Trump's new Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
