Ex-St John head says govt shouldn't entirely fund service

St John says it could provide a safer ambulance service if it had more government funding but more than 18 months since asking for more, it's still waiting for an answer. The former chief executive of St John, Jaimes Wood, says the service is getting more and more calls. "It's always been tough."
