From Morning Report, 7:19 am on 11 April 2017

John Clarke's being remembered today as arguably the first distinctively New Zealand comic voice.

He died aged 68 on Sunday while on a hike with his family in Victoria's Grampian National Park.

Tributes are being paid both here and across the Tasman, where he forged a reputation as Australia's foremost satirist after moving to Melbourne forty years ago.
