Civilian defence force staff picket in front of Ferry Terminal

Civilian staff from the Devonport naval base are picketing today in front of the Devonport Ferry Terminal in support of nationwide campaign for better pay and conditions. They say they haven't had a pay rise for three years and the Defence Force is refusing to engage in bargaining. "We're not asking for millions of dollars here," says their union organiser, Nick Kelly.
