Govt defends new Auckland building scheme

The Government plans to build 34,000 houses in Auckland. Social Housing Minister Amy Adams says it won't cover all of Auckland's housing needs, but that the crown only owns about five percent of the residential land in Auckland "we think this is absolutely the contribution that we can make and should be making."
