Voter turnout remains low despite record advance votes

A record number of people voted early in this election but hopes that might mean a better turnout not to mention a "youthquake" have come to nothing. Voter turnout was just under 79 percent - a single percentage point ahead of last election's 77.9. RNZ reporter Eva Corlett asked students in Auckland's Albert Park why they thought young voters didn't flock to the polling booths.
