Farmer shocked by Manawatu Gorge upgrade plans

Thirteen possible options for a new route to replace the Manawatu Gorge have been outlined by the Transport Agency, ranging from a viaduct built on the river bed, tunnels and new roads. Some of the options involve upgrading the existing alternative routes.
