Barcelona voter describes violent scenes

Emergency officials say close to 800 people have been injured when police used force to try to block voting in Catalonia's independence referendum. The Spanish government has pledged to stop the poll that was declared illegal by the country's constitutional court. Police officers prevented some people from voting, and seized ballot papers and boxes at polling stations. Ricard Royo lives in the town of Sant Cugat del Vallès near Barcelona tells us police have been violently trying to stop voters, who are not fighting back.
