NZers join Passchendaele commemorations in Belgium

Passchendaele was a battle that has become a symbol for the senselessness of war. The ceremonies to remember those who died take place over the next two days in Belgium. On Flander fields in one day 843 New Zealand soldiers were killed. The ceremonies to honour them start overnight in Ypres. Defence Attaché Captatin Shaun Fogarty says many New Zealanders are turning up for the event.
