Volcanologist Colin Wilson wins Rutherford Award

Twenty-one researchers were recognised at this year's Royal Society's prestigious Research Honours, which was also the society's 150th anniversary. Professor Colin Wilson, a world renowned geologist who studies supervolcanoes and what makes them erupt, won the top award.
