Mental health services at 'breaking point' with unit closure

A shortage of nurses on Auckland's North Shore has forced the closure of that area's only acute mental health unit - He Puna Waiora. The union representing the nurses says staff have been working double shifts for months, often dealing with violent and aggressive patients. The PSA says the closures show the strain on mental health services has reached breaking point.
