Peters defends time taken over coalition negotiations

It's been four weeks since votes were cast and now after two weeks of negotiations, Winston Peters says he'll make an announcement on the result of those talks later today. Mr Peters has faced numerous questions and criticism for the time he has taken to speak with National and Labour and to put their proposals to his MPs and party board. Speaking yesterday to Waatea News he said he defended the time he'd taken to negotiate and consider the proposals.
