Climate change threatens human health, James Shaw responds

A new report says the 'basic building blocks' of human health are being threatened by the effects of climate change. The Royal Society Te Apaarangi warns climate change will worsen respiratory issues, drinking water contamination and mental health problems.

New Climate Change Minister James Shaw responds to the findings.

His response follows this interview with Professor Alistair Woodward - an epidemiologist and biostatistician at the University of Auckland, who contributed to the report.
