Wellington taxi driver escapes shooting with wounded shoulder

A Wellington taxi driver has described how he fled for his life after a passenger shot him on Saturday night. The driver, who is from Ethiopia, is recovering in hospital with a wounded shoulder and the police are still hunting for the man who fired the gun and the woman who was with him. The attack has left taxi drivers and members of the Ethiopian community demanding more be done to keep drivers safe.
