From Morning Report, 8:53 am on 21 November 2017

The Zanu PF ruling party in Zimbabwe plans to introduce impeachment proceedings against president Rbert Mugabe tonight overnight. The decision comes after Mr Mugabe missed last night's deadline to step aside voluntarily after being sacked as the leader of the Zanu PF party. Mr Mugabe, who's ruled over Zimbabwe for 37 years, was placed under house arrest by the military last weekm in an attempt to block moves to install his wife Grace Mugabe as his successor. Eddie Cross is an MP in Zimbabwe with Morgan Tsvangirai's MDC party, Movement for Democratic Change.
