The Marine Industry Association says the America's Cup could be worth almost $436 million to the local economy just from super yacht visits alone.
The association's executive director Peter Busfield says Auckland Council may be cheating the city out of much of this windfall with its preferred venue for hosting the cup. He joins us to explain.
