Warning urged over waterborne Legionnaires' risk

A Christchurch woman who had two family members die from Legionnaire's disease is warning people who heat their water with heat pumps to make sure they're not at risk. Ruth Nicholson says a system being put into her home would not have heated the water to a safe level unless she insisted the installers do the job properly. A plumber says people need to make sure any water heated by solar power is hot enough too.
