LA wildfires: 100km/h winds wreak havoc

Wildfires burning overnight in California have swept into the city of Ventura north of Los Angeles destroying at least 150 homes and other buildings and forcing the evacuation of thousands of residents. Two fires are currently burning out of control in the area. Fanned by winds of over 100km/h, the fires have torn through at least 18,000 hectares of land including entire neighbourhoods. LA correspondent Brad Pomerance joins us with the latest from the scene.
