Russia banned from 2018 Winter Olympics

The International Olympic Committee has banned Russia from competing at next year's Winter Olympics in South Korea. Russia's officials are barred from attending, its flag will not be displayed and its anthem won't be played. The IOC says clean Russian athletes can compete as neutrals under the Olympic flag, but the record books will show zero medals for Russia. Emeritus Professor David Gerrard from Otago University's medical school tells us he's welcoming the bold decision.
