Almost $2 million in cybercrime losses have been reported to New Zealand's computer crime agency since it began operating in April.

More than half of the 400 incidents reported to the Computer Emergency Response Team, CERT NZ, between July and September this year related to unauthorised attempts to obtain information such as usernames or passwords, and credential harvesting.
