Mycoplasma bovis spread a major setback for farmers

From Morning Report, 7:21 am on 13 December 2017

Mycoplasma bovis has been found in Hawke's Bay and Southland for the first time. The Ministry for Primary Industries says a fifth property near Ashburton is also likely to be infected. The spread of the disease is a major setback for farmers and biosecurity officials. Hastings district dairy farmer and rural board member, Nick Dawson, says farmers will be devastated if herds have to be killed.
