Euthanasia vote delights husband of Lecretia Seales

From Morning Report, 6:39 am on 14 December 2017

Matt Vickers, whose wife Lecretia Seales died while fighting in the courts for the right to end her life, is ecstatic legislation legalising euthanasia has passed its first reading. He was in Parliament last night watching in the public gallery when 76 MPs voted in favour and 44 voted against David Seymour's End Of Life Bill. The bill will now go to the Justice Select Committee for consideration. Matt Vickers told RNZ political reporter Benedict Collins he wants the committee to research how euthanasia laws work overseas.
