Govt on track with first 100 days promises

From Morning Report, 7:27 am on 14 December 2017

It's been far from smooth sailing for the new government in its first eight weeks in office, but it appears to be largely on track to deliver its hundred day plan. Inexperienced ministers trying to get to grips with their portfolios, a scramble to find ministerial staff and bedding in the coalition arrangements have all proved to be a challenge. The Finance Minister will be laying out how the government intends to pay for its election promises and coalition deals. The House will also go into urgency on Thursday afternoon to put the significant families income package in place. RNZ political editor Jane Patterson joins us with the latest analysis.
