Govt spending 'spaghetti of entitlements' - Joyce

The opening of the books has opened the government up to serious criticism. Some analysts are warning that Treasury has been far too optimistic about how much tax will be collected to pay for the spending plans. And National says it shows Labour has a massive hole in its accounts. But Finance Minister Grant Robertson told Morning Report that when this package is rolled out it will nearly halve childhood poverty and he's really proud of that. Opposition finance spokesperson Steven Joyce joins Kim Hill, and says it's the latest in a "spaghetti of entitlements" that will cause a fiscal hole.
