Rocket Lab's Electron reaches orbit

Rocket Lab successfully launched a rocket into orbit for the first time yesterday. The small Electron rocket reached orbit and deployed three miniature satellites shortly after taking off from the Mahia Peninsula. The successful launch puts the company in a position to soon start serving the burgeoning small satellite market. Rocket Lab's chief executive Peter Beck tells Guyon Espiner why the launch is so significant for the futue of Earth and Space.
