Yesterday we brought you the story of the Park Hyatt hotel developer bringing in up to 200 workers from China to complete the project. The developer, Fu Wah, says it couldn't find locally the workers it needed for the fitout over the next year. RNZ was contacted by a company claiming it could fill some of those positions and that it had said so early on in the project. The Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway has asked to be briefed on the situation.
