Bay of Islands welcomes NZ Wars commemoration

The first national commemoration of the New Zealand Wars takes place this weekend in the Bay of Islands. It's a special occasion for a group of Otorohanga High School students who played a pivotal role in ensuring the painful chapter in our history is acknowledged. The programme dubbed 'Te Putake o Te Riri' - the reason for the anger - starts this afternoon with a mass haka at Waitangi's Te Tii marae.
