Middlemore leaky buildings: Health Ministers in dark

Both the current and former Health Ministers say they were kept in the dark about the extent of the leaky and buildings at Middlemore Hospital. Health Minister David Clark says he's had some frank words to the Counties Manukau District Health Board who told him only about one of the four buildings with critical problems. He was invited to discuss the Middlemore buildings on Morning Report but he declined. We also offered Counties Manukau DHB the opportunity to be interviewed.
