NCEA pass rate improvements may be over

The era of steady year-on-year increases in NCEA pass rates may be over. Latest NCEA results show 2017's pass rates are little different to those of 2016 at a national level, although there's been some big gains for Pasifika and Asian students. It's a stark change from previous years, where pass rates for Years 11, 12 and 13 have all increased by one or more percentage points. RNZ education correspondent, John Gerritsen, filed this report.
