Students moving schools are falling behind - Treasury report

A Treasury report shows some children are moving schools five times or more between the ages of 8 and 14 and it's hurting their academic achievement. The working paper on student mobility says 57 percent of highly mobile students got level one of the NCEA, compared with 90 percent of students who changed schools no more than three times. Mike Williams from the Secondary Principals Association told our education correspondent, John Gerritsen, transience has a big impact on students' academic achievement.
