Bill Cosby found guilty on three charges of sexual assault

The comedian Bill Cosby has been found guilty on three charges of sexual assault. He could be sentenced to 10 years in prison on each of the charges. The 80-year-old has been accused of drugging and raping dozens of women over decades. The Cosby Show was the highest-rated TV programme in the 1980s and Cosby's jokes about his family life and parenting had him dubbed as the world's favourite father. It was a retrial for Cosby - an earlier jury failed to reach a verdict. The lawyer Gloria Allred represents some of the women who have made accusations against Cosby - she spoke outside court a short time ago.
