Following the lifting of name suppression of 'Witness C' in the David Tamihere case, Mr Tamihere says there needs to be a review of the use of jailhouse snitches. But Justice Minister Andrew Little says he is not planning a review.
"There's nothing on the plan at the moment, I'm not proposing to initiate anything myself," he says.
Mr Little says the Criminal Cases Review Commission is expected to be set up by April 2019. David Tamihere could potentially apply to take his case to the Commission.
