'Confusing' night in Turkey as Erdogan claims victory

Turkish President Recep Erdogan has claimed victory in the snap election in Turkey. Ninety-six percent of votes have been counted with Erdogan taking 53 percent of the votes. Minutes ago, he spoke to the Turkish people. Our correspondent in Turkey, Andrew Finkel, tells Guyon Espiner: "We're on a downward spiral here. Turkey does lock up a lot of dissenters... Foreign journalists find it much less comfortable here than 5 years ago."
