Search for missing pilot resumes on Lake Wanaka

The search for the missing helicopter pilot Matt Wallis is resuming on Lake Wanaka. The son of the Warbirds Over Wanaka founder, Sir Tim Wallis, crashed into the lake near Stevensons Island on Saturday afternoon. He is presumed dead and the police and his family are now searching for his body. The man in charge of the search for Mr Wallis, Detective Sergeant Derek Shaw says weather conditions on the lake are good.
