Shooting in Hawkes Bay

The hunt for a gunman who killed one man and injured an 8-year old boy north of Napier is over, after he was apprehended by police late last night. Radio NZ's Heugh Chappell spoke with a Waikoau resident who says he held the shot man's hand as he died.
