Witi Ihimaera is to buy back his own book

Just a day after being named a laureate by the Arts Foundation and pocketing 50 thousand dollars prize money for the honour, author Witi Ihimaera is to buy back all remaining copies of his latest novel The Trowenna Sea after revelations that some parts of the book were plagiarised.
