Council to consider offer to fund Christchurch pool

Residents in the Christchurch suburb of St Albans hope to learn today whether a four year battle to get its swimming pool replaced has been successful. A $2.5 million donation from an elderly local man enabled the community to submit a proposal to buy the land, which the council will consider today.
