Auckland Council determined to press on with rail tunnel

Auckland Council says it wants to press on with a planned downtown rail tunnel despite rejection by the Government of the case for it. Two years of planning and preparation for the $2.4 billion project can now go-ahead, with councillors hoping to win the Government over.
