One of eight Iwi involved in the so-called Treelords deal says missing a self-imposed settlement deadline will cost it dearly. Taranaki Maori health providers say DHBs and other Government agencies need to start playing ball if they want Whanau Ora to work. The Mana Party says the rejection of a peace deal by the Maori Party opens the way for Mana to recruit in other Maori electorates.
