Coastal iwi in Bay of Plenty want a royal commission of inquiry into the Rena disaster; A north Taranaki hapu meets with the New Plymouth Council, and the Historic Places Trust tomorrow after Maori artefacts were found close to an urupa or burial site in Waitara; A powhiri will be held at Te Papa museum in Wellington today, to mark the return to New Zealand of 20 toi moko or Maori ancestral heads from France; Te Aupouri iwi in the Far North has almost finished preparations for three days of festivities and celebrations at Te Kao.
