Citizen Kane to be shown at Hearst castle for the first time

The Oscar award-winning film, Citizen Kane, caused a big stir in 1941 when it was released. The newspaper baron, William Randolph Hearst, believed that the film's main character, Charles Foster Kane, was modelled on himself, and he did all he could to prevent the film's promotion.
