Dunedin may be better off selling council companies

Dunedin ratepayers says companies owned by Dunedin City Council should be sold after flat earnings in their latest six monthly report. The companies - the airport, a contracting business, a forestry company and an electricity distribution firm - notched up $5 million in profits in the six months to December.
