A Nga Puhi woman living in Sydney says the Parramata City Council is being intransigent over a piece of land it wants to sell, but rightfully belongs to Maori; New Zealand Maori hockey will vie to be recognised as a seperate national team when New Zealand and international hockey leaders meet next weekend; Two King Country Maori land trusts say if the Chinese consortium Shanghai Pengxin is prepared to sell back any of the Crafar farm properties to iwi, then the group would consider that option; A series of Hui is underway around the country to test opinion on planned changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme.
