EU leaders meet in bid to head off eurozone crisis

European leaders have arrived in Brussels for a meeting aimed at finding a way to keep the eurozone crisis from spiralling out of control. It is the first summit of the European Union's 27 countries to be attended by France's new president, Francois Hollande, who unlike his predecessor Nicolas Sarkozy, opposes austerity measures and wants Europe to spend its way out of its problems.
